The Shelf · the room for everything else

The stuff I actually use.

Not a sponsored list. Everything here came out of my own pocket and earned its verdict, including the ones I regret. If a link pays me, you still get the honest call.

These live in my ears from the first call to the last. The noise cancel actually works on a job site and on a plane. The case finally beeps when you lose it. I have tried the cheaper ones. I came back.

I read more because of this. No notifications, no glow that keeps me up, weeks of battery. I bought it to read more books and it did exactly that. Boring in the best way.

Five years in and it looks better beat up than new. Holds the cards I use and nothing I do not. The money clip is the only version worth buying. My back pocket thanks me.

Rambler 26 oz

Ice at 8am is still ice at 5pm in a Tucson summer. I have left it in a truck bed at 110 degrees and the water was cold. The straw lid is the one to get. Everything else is a downgrade.

Theragun Mini

Lives in my bag. Ten minutes on the shoulders after a long drive or a long day at a desk and the knot is gone. The full size is overkill for most people. This one you actually bring.

737 Power Bank

Charges a laptop and a phone twice over and tells you the watts on a little screen. I stopped hunting for outlets at airports. If you carry a laptop, this is the one that ends the anxiety.

Twenty bucks, every color, never lets me down. I own four. It is the one piece of clothing on this whole site I would replace the day I lost it without a second thought.

Ember Mug 2

I wanted to love it. A 150 dollar mug that keeps coffee warm sounds great until you live with one. It needs its own coaster, the app is silly, and a cheap thermos does the same job. I bought it so you do not have to.
